"Don't Smoke Drugs" is a collection of 63 drawings from 34 arteests. The book operates much the way the age-old exquisite corpse drawing exercise does. This book has three independently turnable panels comprised of head, torso and legs. Each artist has drawn characters so these body parts line up snugly with the heads, torsos and legs of the contributions from the other artists. When you turn the pages you can produce an almost endless number of character possibilities. The drawings are so amazing this book would be really cool even if it were only a book of drawings. The book is printed in an edition of 420. Each book has a lovely screen-printed cover, and the guts of the book are printed on a sturdy 100 lb. card stock that even the brawniest toddler will find difficult to tear out. They're about 11 inches by 17 inches, so they're quite large, making them difficult to flush. They actually make good cat sleeping mats. I will be getting an online store soon, but if you want to purchase one RIGHT NOW, send 30 dollars (well concealed cash or check payable to Josh Journey-Heinz) to my address above. |

"Me No Like" is a series of eight illustrations accompanied by text blurbs. Each illustration contains a different scene in which cavemenmonkeymonsters attack a high capitalist machine or institution, i.e., Hummer-limousine, golf, etc. Each vignette is printed in monochromatic color using offset printing. The cover, however, is letterpressed, giving it a nice embossed look. There were just short of 500 of these made (a few had to be sent to hell) and I'm down to my last 65, so if you want one, send 10 dollars (concealed cash-money or check payable to Josh Journey-Heinz) to my address above. |
